Cindy & Saylor: In the Press

It’s always thrilling to receive complements on our work.  However, I begin to think that it doesn’t matter what I do my MOM is always going to have nice things to say. 😉 Love you mom!! What can I say? She’s proud of me and I love her for it!!  However, there is whole different kind of excitement when our work is met with approval by others in the wedding/photography industry.  I am SO proud and excited to share some of the places we have been featured recently.

First up, is perhaps the MOST exciting!  One of our images was chosen for a cover of The Texas Wedding Guide.  It is a bit surreal to see a photo I took on the cover of a magazine that is for sale at Barnes and Noble!  Seriously, I wish I could send a copy to my college photography teacher.  She would be happy because it’s not of a person and her advice to me was that I needed to take less photos of people. ?????? Whatever, that meant.  Apparently, she was not aware of the importance of photos as heirlooms or that documenting the lives of people was just as important (more so) than landscapes, but WHAT-EVER.  LOL!  Back to the topic at hand.

We were also blessed to have Lesli and Brett’s wedding story featured in this issue.  Make sure to pick up a copy or ask me, I have plenty!!

Next, we had an image in the V5 5th anniversary issue of Southern Weddings.  This is my personal favorite wedding mag and it was a huge goal of mine to have an image included in this magazine at some point.  I’m VERY excited about this one. 😉  Yes, that is the same gorgeous bouquet as above.  Thanks Torin for having such fabulous taste!  By the way, her bouquet was from Market Street which proves that you don’t have to spend a lot to have beautiful flowers for your wedding.
