Oh how we LOVE a good ‘ol Texas wedding in the Historic Stockyards! Mary & Travis and many of their guests traveled a long way to celebrate in Texas. It was well worth it, as you can see. 😉
I loved Mary’s choice of teal and peach for their wedding colors. I also have to comment on Mary’s amazing attention to detail when it came to the schedule. There were a lot of moving parts and travel between venues but it all went so smoothly with the timing exact almost down to the minute. It made for a perfect, stress-free day. If I was planning a wedding I would definitely trust Mary to coordinate! If you are in the New York City area and need help let me know and I’ll get you in contact with her. 😉
On to the story of Mary and Travis’s big day!I just have to give a big THANK YOU shout out to Mary’s wonderful bridesmaids. They were extremely helpful, bringing me items to photograph and helping us all stay on schedule. Thank you ladies! We LOVE large bridal parties. It always feels a little chaotic posing a group this large, but once we get everyone in place it is SO WORTH IT! This is one of my favorites from the day.Travis is a NYC police officer and he requested a photo with ALL the people in law enforcement that were in attendance at the reception. This was a pretty cool moment and a photo that I will always be honored that I got the opportunity to take. This group knows HOW TO PARTY!!!Then, instead of a grand exit Mary & Travis requested a special song, “New York, New York,” and everyone hit the dance floor to celebrate the couple and sing along. It was SO MUCH FUN! What a way to end the perfect evening.Congratulations Mary and Travis. We wish you many happy moments in your beautiful future. Best wishes and hugs to you both!
