I’m currently working on a blog post of this lovely couple’s wedding and I JUST realized that I didn’t post any of their engagement session!  How could I have missed that?!  It must have been all the craziness of rescheduling their session twice due to rain and then heading straight into summer and all the fun that entails. 😉  So the next few days on the blog are going to be dedicated to Kaylee and Jyramie.  Starting with their engagement photos and leading up to their beautiful wedding day. Sounds good to me!!!

First up is their engagement session at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve……engagement session at arbor hills nature preserve in plano texas photos by cindy and saylor photographersP I N this to pinterestI just have to pause for a second to say how awesome our clients are when they trust us!  This session was on the one beautiful day right in the middle of all that flooding and rain we had a couple of months ago and the mud was just out of control, but Kaylee and Jyramie braved the mud, mosquitoes, and possibility of snakes for this photo.  Ok, maybe I was the only one that was really afraid of snakes, but seriously snakes are a DEAL BREAKER.  I’m only slightly terrified of them. Oh how we LOVE a good ‘ol Texas wedding in the Historic Stockyards!  Mary & Travis and many of their guests traveled a long way to celebrate in Texas.  It was well worth it, as you can see. 😉

I loved Mary’s choice of teal and peach for their wedding colors.  I also have to comment on Mary’s amazing attention to detail when it came to the schedule. There were a lot of moving parts and travel between venues but it all went so smoothly with the timing exact almost down to the minute.  It made for a perfect, stress-free day.  If I was planning a wedding I would definitely trust Mary to coordinate!  If you are in the New York City area and need help let me know and I’ll get you in contact with her. 😉

I’m not sure how to begin this post.  I mean how to do write about one of the most beautiful and yet the most difficult weddings we’ve ever photographed?  This one was a CHALLENGE to say the least.  If you haven’t noticed we’ve had a little rain recently in Texas.  That’s putting it mildly.  We have had record setting rain recently in Texas and crazy tornado, thunder storms and all the other weirdness that comes with Texas weather in the spring. ALL of those things were in the forecast when we awoke on Chanda & Taylor’s wedding day.  To top it all off I woke up sick as a dog with no voice whatsoever.  As we packed the car and headed to Weatherford to Clark Gardens I said more than a few prayers to just “PLEASE let this day go smoothly, and give me strength to make it through the day without coughing my head off” Amen.

It’s hard to remember weather this beautiful with all the rain we’ve had, but I do think this may be the last beautiful Saturday before all the crazy weather started!  It was perfection too! 😉

I think it would be fair to say that Rebecca & Ryan’s wedding was blessed.  Blessed by some beautiful weather, blessed by some sweet friends and blessed by a day that went smoothly from start to finish!  The weather was so beautiful and perfect on May 3rd that it’s hard to believe that only one short week later they were literally air lifting people out of the area due to flooding.  Thank goodness, the weather held off until these two could tie the knot!
