We were so honored to be a part of this fabulous day!  Lesli and Brett are such a great couple and they really welcomed us in and made us feel like part of the family.  The entire event filled day was held at The Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas. From the fabulous suite where the bride and bridesmaids got ready, to the Yellow Rose Ballroom for the ceremony, to the beautiful atrium where we captured the couples first look and portraits, to the fabulous ballroom where everyone danced the night away, The Gaylord certainly knows how to throw a wedding!

Oh, how I love these two!!  I can’t wait until their wedding in October.  You know how sometimes you meet people and you just feel like you are on the same wavelength?  Well, Becca & Chris are definitely kindred spirits.  We had a blast planning their coffee date/casual rooftop/silly/fun/vintagey/ Mad Men-esque inspired session.  How’s that for an engagement session theme?! LOL!  I’m in love with the way these images turned out and I can’t wait to hang out with these two crazy kids again soon!

Recently I got the opportunity to spend some time with the beautiful Karen at the Dallas Arboretum to capture some senior portraits for her.  We lucked out that it just happened to be during the Chihuly exhibit going on at the Arboretum.  The gorgeous glass sculptures made from some amazing backdrops!  It was almost as if Karen’s outfits had been chosen to match the sculptures.  Karen did an amazing job modeling and I can’t say enough about how impressed I am by this amazing, sweet, thoughtful young woman.  She definitely has a fantastic future in store!  Good luck, sweet Karen, and congratulations on your graduation!

I’m so excited to FINALLY get to share these engagement photos. We had to reschedule due to weather and it seemed like we were never going to get to hang out with Lydia and PJ, but the day finally arrived and we had a blast hanging out with these two on Saturday at Grapevine Lake.  There was not a cloud in the sky and boy that lake can reflect the sun.  I even had a lovely sunburn on Sunday morning. 🙂 Totally worth it! These two like to spend time on the lake so the marina was a perfect location to start their session.
