Jenna and Tyler got married on Saturday so I can finally share her gorgeous bridal portraits taken at the equally beautiful venue The Milestone in Krum, Texas.  Jenna is just one of those girls that is a natural in front of the camera.  She was so much fun and her mom is a PRO photo assistant!!!  I could have spent the entire day photographing Jenna in her beautiful gown from Bridal Boutique of Lewisville.

When Alicia told me about some of the details they would be incorporating into her and Michael’s big day at Reunion Ranch in Terrell, TX she had me a handmade brooch bouquet!  We’ve been eagerly anticipating this rustic, handmade wedding for quite awhile!  Everywhere we turned there were beautiful, meaningful handmade rustic touches and I LOVED it!

Alicia and Michael tied the knot on Saturday so I can FINALLY share her gorgeous bridal images.  It’s been really, really hard to keep these under wraps!  We actually shot Alicia’s bridal session AND her and Michael’s engagement session all in one day.  It was so much fun.  I loved getting to spend so much time getting to know Alicia that day.  She and her mom are just the sweetest and I couldn’t be more happy for her beginning a new life with her love.

Okay, can we talk about her fabulous bouquet for just a moment?  Alicia made her one of kind brooch bouquet herself.  It includes a few brooches passed down from family members and her friends even hosted a “brooch shower” for her.  I can’t think of something more meaningful to carry down the aisle on your wedding day than a bouquet created from gifts and family heirlooms.  SIGH.  Weddings are awesome! 🙂aliciabridal_photogfavs_001P I N this to pinterest

aliciabridal_photogfavs_006P I N this to pinterestFAVORITE!!!!  Isn’t she beautiful?!  Alicia’s veil is passed down from her mom.  I love when our brides incorporate family heirlooms into their weddings.  I have my mom’s wedding veil in a special box along with her bridal portrait and I am keeping it for my daughters to use some day.  When Alicia told me she was wearing her mother’s veil I may or may not have teared up just a little bit.  When I look at the photo below I can’t help but hope that someday Alicia’s granddaughter will cherish this photo and maybe see a little bit of her grandmother when she looks in the mirror.  <sniff, sniff>  Ok, moving on……aliciabridal_photogfavs_008P I N this to pinterest

Are you ready for this gorgeousness?  I’m not sure you can handle it!  I can barely handle it. 🙂  I have been SO excited to share this wedding.  I had to seriously restrain myself when choosing some images to share on the blog.  This is only about half of the what I initially choose as favorites to share, but I realized that I wasn’t EVER going to get this blog post prepped and posted if I couldn’t narrow it down a bit. So as difficult as it was I did it and I am proud of myself.  Ok, so maybe I’m being a little over dramatic, but this really was a beautiful wedding of a wonderful couple and sometimes I just get a little too attached so it’s hard for me to choose my favorites.  Once you see this wedding you will know what I mean and you won’t blame me for a second. 😉

rustic senior portaits in frisco texas at babeP I N this to pinterestWe’ve been looking forward to shooting this gorgeous red head’s Senior Portraits for almost two years!  We photographed her older brother & sister’s senior portraits and also their family a few years ago and ever since then we’ve been super excited to get Stephanie in front of our cameras again.  It was worth the wait!  Stephanie was amazing in front of the camera.  Her sweet spirit and confidence just shine out of her.  We had SO much fun laughing through this whole session and I hope these photos will always be a reminder to Stephanie of this exciting time in her life.

Stephanie, Saylor and I wish you the very best of luck as you begin your nursing degree next year at Harding.  We know you are going to do amazing things and can’t wait to see what you accomplish!  HUGS!!!!!! 🙂
