Boy has this summer been busy! I work hard everyday, but I just can’t seem to get caught up. Just as I’m beginning to see daylight more work is piled onto the list. I guess that’s why they call it work. 🙂 I LOVE my job despite the never ending photo editing, because when I work through the photos from an event I can’t help but smile at the people in the images remembering the time spent with them.
Below are a few of my favorites from the final evening of events from Mehreen and Ali’s wedding weekend. This was the Valima or Groom’s reception. It was a formal dinner with BEAUTIFUL table decorations. The food looked delicious and smelled even more yummy! One of my favorite things about this type of wedding that is different from the American style weddings that we usually shoot is that both the bride’s and the groom’s families make a big entrance and are welcomed by the guests.
Here is part of that entrance of the family I mentioned. I can’t help but smile back at the woman on the right in this photo. Seriously! Try not to smile at her. It’s impossible! The groom’s mom and dad and brother. LOVE her Sari. It’s beautiful! The bride and groom make their entrance.
Friends and family of the bride and groom made speeches. Lots of laughs!!
Then there was the evening prayer. This little girl was adorable! She would have posed for me all night I think. LOVE her big brown eyes. The beautiful rings……….…….and a bit of detail from Mehreen’s dress and a sweet moment with her little brother. Congratulations you two!! We loved every moment of documenting your wedding.
