Why should we do an engagement session?

We highly recommend every couple do an engagement session.  It is a really great time for us to get to know you and for you to get comfortable in front of our cameras.  If you are familiar with the way we work and feel comfortable with us and our shooting style it will make your wedding day that much more relaxed.  Plus, you can make an awesome guest sign-in album from your engagement photos and we include some favors for your guests made from your engagement photos in every package!

What is a first look and why should we have one?

The first look is when the bride and groom see each other before the ceremony.  We usually choose a secluded spot for this to occur that will make a lovely backdrop for your first moments seeing each other.  It also gives you a few moments to take in the importance of the day.  It is usually the only time on your wedding day that you will get to be alone and without a crowd of spectators.  Of course, the main reason to do a first look is because it provides for plenty of time to get relaxed portraits of the two of you together while there is still plenty of daylight.

How long after the wedding does it take to get our photos?

Approximately 1 week after the wedding a sneak peek with be posted on our blog.  Then, within 4-6 weeks your online gallery will be ready for viewing.  2-3 weeks after the gallery is launched your album pre-design will be available for you to view online.  Once, you have finalized your album design it takes about 6 weeks to receive your wedding album.  Our goal is to have delivered everything to you by your 6 month anniversary.

How does the album design process work?

Once, you’ve had a chance to see your wedding images the album design process begins.  All of our albums are designed in house exclusively by Cindy.  She will consult with you on the different styles of albums and designs we have available.  Cindy designs the album from cover to cover to reflect your personalities and in a way that best tells the story of your wedding day.  You will be sent a link to preview the design online and will have up to 2 rounds of changes.  Once, you have approved the design it is sent to our album binder and takes about 6 weeks to receive it.
