We believe that engagement photos should mean something. Brick walls and alleys and unusual locations are fun to shoot in, but if they hold no meaning to the people being photographed what is the point? We usually ask our wedding clients to think of a location or two that have some meaning to them as a couple and that is where we shoot their engagement session. When I asked this question of Courtney and Taylor their answer was to do the shoot in their hometown. In the place where they met and grew up and the place where they fell in love. I couldn’t think of a better location. It didn’t hurt that Prosper is full of amazing photo opportunities either! We started out in town and then headed out to Courtney’s parents home to shoot some photos with her horses.
I am kinda in LOVE with these photos. Like, SWOON, DROOL, in LOVE with these photos. If you have spent any time around Saylor and I you have probably heard one of us say “it’s easy to photograph good looking people” and it is, but when you have a couple that is so obviously head over heels for each other that makes the work (if you can really call it work) THAT much easier. Courtney and Taylor, we are so excited about your wedding in March! I absolutely can’t wait to photograph all those men in uniform. 😉
I love too!!! Thanks to Andi (Courtney’s sister) for spying this cool graffiti.
Oh and by the way, Courtney knows how to work the camera.
I will never forgive you if you don’t order this as a huge canvas. If you don’t I will. It would look great in my office. My favorite.
Wait, maybe this one is my favorite. I LOVE it! And because it’s hard to resist a man in uniform…………….
I can’t believe how beautiful these images turned out. The horse and black dress ones are my absolute favorites!!! I cannot wait to see all of them in person. Courtney, you’re beautiful, and Taylor, thanks for acting normal! Stunning photos and precious couple, can’t wait for the wedding!
Best,
Kristen
Wow Cindy those are awesome! Beautiful couple too!
Absolutely LOVE your pictures! Would love to get one of the black and white with the horse! Is there anyway I can order one of these? I wish you LOTS of love and happiness always!
Aunt Gina,
What an amazing daughter you have (and counsin I have). I cannot believe that darling little girl has grown into this beautiful poised woman with such a wonderful, handsome husband to be. Then again, I can believe it because she has you for a Mama! The last time I saw her she was wearing Mickey Mouse ears and flip flops in California….she’s certainly changed a bit!
It is evident that Courtney and Taylor are so very in love and many blessings are in store for the two of them. To the photographer, you are very talented! What a wonderful thing that Courtney and Taylor will have these memories to cherish for a lifetime. I am so excited for the wedding in March!
I love you guys!
