Meredith + Cutter:: Married

It’s been said there is nothing like a traditional June wedding, but I believe in Texas there is nothing like an OCTOBER wedding. It was a gorgeous October day when Saylor and I arrived to Meredith’s room at The Crown Plaza in Addison and I was just about giddy with excitement! The getting ready part of the day is my favorite. There is something about documenting all the little details of the day that makes me feel like we are doing something very important. We may not be discovering the cure for cancer, but in my opinion documenting a couple’s wedding day is serious business. Hopefully, they will look back on their album in the future, maybe on a day when being married isn’t quite so fun, and remember the love and excitement they felt on their wedding day and it will make a difference. Meredith:: Bridal

It was pouring rain. BUCKETS. Meredith’s mom was in town just for the occasion of helping with the bridal portraits. We HAD to make it work. Meredith, her mom and her extremely helpful friend Stacey arrived to the McKinney Cotton Mill in the torrential downpour (did I mention it was raining?) and with several umbrellas, some careful puddle jumping and lots of laughter we WORKED-IT-OUT! I LOVE shooting at the Cotton Mill. It’s such a beautiful location. Even in pouring rain with extremely overcast skies the light is still gorgeous. We shot until the light was almost totally gone and Meredith just couldn’t smile anymore.... Read full post
